Our Story
We both spent our entire lives in Friesland, always dreaming that one day we would start over in another country. A place where life felt slower, where we could live outdoors, surrounded by peace and nature. And a place we could share with others.

That dream led us across Europe, searching for the feeling of “this is where we truly belong.” Time and again, we found ourselves returning to Italy.
In September, we began house hunting in the Abruzzo region. The combination of mountains and sea, authentic villages, untouched nature, and a beautiful climate instantly captured our hearts. It was everything we had been looking for.
When we stepped into this house for the second time, we simply knew: this is our home.
After an exciting period of negotiations, we completed the purchase in June 2025.
And that is how Villa Frysia was born, a name that honors our Frisian roots.

Villa Frysia biedt een ruim vakantieappartement voor maximaal 5 gasten, ontworpen om de rust en schoonheid te delen die ons verliefd hebben gemaakt op deze plek.
Het pand staat op een ruim perceel met een grote tuin en aangrenzend bos. Rondom het huis vindt u diverse terrassen, een brede patio en een terrasvormige tuin met olijf- en fruitbomen.
Vanaf hier kunt u genieten van een panoramisch uitzicht op het Majella-gebergte en het authentieke Italiaanse dorp Arielli, een landschap dat uitnodigt om tot rust te komen en diep adem te halen.
